Chuck Pyle

To some, singer/songwriter Chuck Pyle is a walking
contradiction. One reviewer labeled him "the Zen Cowboy"
for his delightful but seemingly-at-odds mix of upbeat contemporary
humor and straight-from-the-saddle poetry. With his own unique
"southwestern Acoustic" sound, he compresses western
themes with folk, rock and cowboy influences into his own philosophical
blend of Cowboy Zen.
Chuck's songs have been recorded by popular artists
including Jerry Jeff Walker, John Denver, The Nitty Gritty Dirt
Band, Tish Hinojosa, and Chris DeRoux. His 1980 song "Cadillac
Cowboy" topped the country charts in 1991 as performed by
Chris DeRoux.
Chuck has recorded seven albums. His latest, "Affected by
the Moon," was released in January 2002.
"Pyle has a light, charismatic voice and a virtuosic finger-picking
style that's both refined and impressive..."
